Currently operate four (4) 280-L digesters.
spectrophotometer, Hach DRB 200 digester, pH meter, convection
oven, muffle furnace, centrifuge and vacuum filtration apparatus
- Two digesters are equipped to process high solid substrate
(top-mounted mixers) - Honeywell Optima Plus methane analyzer equipped with
automated solenoid manifold that measures and logs methane
concentration from each digester at 15 minute intervals - Biogas quantity measured using water displacement wet tip
meters - ABB SM 2000 data logger that logs methane concentration,
biogas production and pH for each digester - Each digester equipped with temperature (RTD) and pH control
